The Best Coffee in Edinburgh
It’s a bit chilly outside, but there’s nothing like a strong coffee to warm you up! We have pulled together a list of some of our favourite places to grab a great cup of coffee in Edinburgh.
We are more than familiar with Edinburgh’s many coffee shops (#caffeineaddict) and the coffee scene is thriving in Scotland’s Capital. You don’t have to throw a bean far to find a coffee aficionado who knows their Arabica from their Robusta in this city, and we hope that these suggests get you off to a good start.
Cult Espresso, South Side
Cult Espresso, who are supplied by Round Hill Roastery, are the guys to go to in you’re looking for creativity and flavour. Their espresso-based coffee has a deep, full flavour while their ‘Latte Art’ is second to none. This narrow space could easily be missed and is actually a converted alleyway between two tenement buildings. Run by father and son team, Kevin & Gary, it’s well worth a visit.

Nice list, which covers most of my favourite Coffee Spots in Edinburgh. One I would definitely add to the list though is Machina Espresso on Brougham Place, Tollcross. They make some excellent coffee as well as selling a great range of coffee equipment.
Thanks,
Brian.
