About the home
There's a lot to like about this main door two bedroom home in Brunton Gardens. The location is excellent with Montgomery Park across the street and excellent local boutiques and independent food stores along on Easter Road. This home is dog friendly and also great for families.&
You pass through a private gravelled front garden and into the home. The highlight of this home is the wonderful dining kitchen with a table to seat six and patio doors leading onto a private seating area and then a larger shared garden which is well looked after. It's an absolute sun trap and a gorgeous asset in the middle on the city. Off the kitchen there's a laundry room.&
The sitting room is attractively furnished (the whole house is!) with a bay window and a large comfy sofa which is perfect for relaxing or watching TV. There are two double bedrooms. The master is at the back of the apartment and is lovely and sunny during the afternoon. The second bedroom is lovely too. The bathroom has a shower above the bath and great wallpaper. There's a study in a box room off the hall, which guests can also use for storage.&
This wonderful apartment is a real home and guests are sure to be relaxed and enjoy staying here.&

Home Truths
This is a main door home but there are a couple of steps to reach the front door.
This is a dog friendly home. Dogs are welcome with owners who are going to be taking their dogs with them when they go out but we're afraid we can't accept dogs who are going to be regularly left at home whilst the owners, for example go to work, as our experience is that damage is caused in this scenario. An additional £30/week charge is made for each dog and a larger damage deposit will be taken to cover any breakages/damages or extra cleaning which is required.
24 hour cool-off period: Providing you book more than fourteen days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours of making it and we will refund 100% of any charges.
Cancelling after the booking is confirmed: Once a confirmation of booking has been issued to you via email by Dickins, you are responsible for the total price detailed. If you need to cancel, Dickins will try to relet the period for you and if they are successful, you will be reimbursed with the value of the relet less a £75 + VAT charge. If they are not able to relet the period, you will be responsible for the full rental cost. It may be a good idea to make sure you have travel insurance which covers cancellation.

East New Town & Hillside
The East New Town and Hillside area is where it’s at. Running from Scotland Street in the West to Broughton Road in the North, Lower London Road in the East and Regent Terrace in the South. Local resident, Peter Irvine, of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay fame christened the area The East Village.
The highpoint, literally, of the area is Calton Hill. A walk up here is rewarded to magnificent views across the whole of the city and photo opportunities abound on Calton Hill. The National Monument is much climbed and the Nelson Monument was built to look like Nelson’s upturned telescope. The City Observatory is now the home of the Collective Gallery and there’s a cute café there too. Calton Hill is an incredible place to watch the fireworks, The Beltane Festival held there on 30th April is very popular and an enormous torchlight procession on 30th December culminates on the Hill.
