Queens Club is available for corporate lets only for a minimum of 28 nights.
About This Home
Queen's Club is a magnificent home. It was designed as a club in 1903 and since made into apartments. It has such beautiful detailing throughout. You'll notice the impressive door architraves as soon as your step inside the front door. Located on the first floor, you'll be amazed by the high ceilings (over 3m) and sense of scale and space. The location is hard to beat too. Less than 50m from Princes Street.
The sitting room is a beautiful room with a bay window giving a perfect view of Edinburgh Castle. We've placed a chair in the perfect spot which catches the sun and lets you see the Castle too. You'll find two comfy boucle cream sofas and bookshelves filled with great books. There's a TV and beautiful African sculptures collected by the owners, who use this home regularly.
The bedroom has such a grand size, again with over 3m ceilings. There's a comfy superking size bed with good quality linens and a large wardrobe, so you'll have everything you need here to sleep well. The bedroom and sitting room have secondary glazing, so the apartment has no noise issues. The shower room has a good quality shower.
The dining kitchen is reached from a corridor off the sitting room. It's a fabulous room with beautiful original cornicing and a glazed conservatory area by the dining table making this a sun trap on a bright day. The kitchen is well equipped for dining at home. There's a desk and chair in the kitchen too. The wifi speed here is good.
Queen's Club is the quintessential Edinburgh apartment. You'll love staying here!

Central New Town

The Central New Town spans from Scotland Street in the East to Randolph Crescent in the West and from Princes Street in the South to Brandon Terrace in the North. It encompasses most of Edinburgh’s beautiful and enviable Georgian New Town.
In 1766 James Craig, aged 27, entered a competition to design a New Town to ease overcrowding in the Old Town. There were six entries and he won. His plan was for St Andrew Square and Charlotte Square, Princes Street, George Street and Queen Street and was presented to King George III in 1767. Edinburgh’s New Town is now world famous and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995. The Georgian New Town is known for its graceful sweeping crescents, wide streets and private central gardens. The beautiful stone buildings have large astragal windows that we love to peep in on a winters evening to see what lies inside. The architectural details and high ceilings in Edinburgh’s New Town put Bath to shame. The architectural highlights are Charlotte Square, Moray Place and Heriot Row.
