5 Luxury Apartments in Edinburgh to Die For
Edinburgh is full of gorgeous buildings with stunning luxury apartments inside them – and we’re lucky enough to look after some of the most attractive ones with that special boutique hotel feeling. So if you’re visiting Edinburgh as a tourist, coming here for work or need to find somewhere to stay whilst your own home is being refurbished do take a look at our self catering apartments in Edinburgh that we rent our from 3 nights up to 6 months. They’re all unique!
In this blog post we’ll show off some of the top range Edinburgh luxury apartments we look after. Do note that some of these homes are only available during the Festival – you will fully understand why the owners want to stay there themselves for the rest of the year if you scroll down!
Dublin Street Lane South
- sleeps 3
- 1 double, 1 single
- airy, hyggelicious & enviable location
This home is in one of those popular, cute mews houses dotted around Edinburgh and located on a quiet cobbled lane parallel to York Place. We love the colour palette used in the flat, the pale wooden floors and the lovely spacious feel. Luxury also means a great location, and with the National Portrait Gallery and Broughton Street on your doorstep you will love this place even more!

Photographer’s Studio
- sleeps 2
- 1 double
- quirky, romantic & totally unique
You’ll struggle to find a place to stay in Edinburgh as intimate, cool and idyllic as the Photographer’s Studio on Calton Hill. This magical little folly even has an ogee roof and a hexagonal-shaped open plan living area! Judging by the photo you might think the studio is located somewhere outside the city, but no, it’s only minutes away from Princes Street! That’s luxury if you ask us.

East Claremont Street
- sleeps 10
- 4 doubles, 1 bunk bed
- fun, stylish & very desirable
This absolutely fabulous, recently refurbished New Town townhouse is right on trend and almost annoyingly perfect! It’s set over three floors, has five bedrooms and a wonderful kitchen with glass doors leading out to the private garden and private parking. Unfortunately this home is only available during the Edinburgh Festival – so perhaps time to start planning a trip to Edinburgh next August?! This is luxury living at its best.

Royal Terrace
- sleeps 10
- 4 doubles, 1 twin
- spacious, elegant & beautiful architectural details
There’s no lack of space in this impressive, also recently refurbished Edinburgh townhouse. The ceilings are high, there are fine architectural details throughout (including a staircase with a cupola!) and a large private garden. Royal Terrace is one of Edinburgh’s smartest streets, just around the corner from the Edinburgh Playhouse and around a 10-minute walk from George Street. It’s lovely!
Dewar Place Lane
- sleeps 4
- 2 doubles
- fresh, welcoming & comfortable
Yes it’s another lovely mews house! The open plan living area just breathes spring and home – and a home with all the comforts of a home is just what this is. The luxury bedding upstairs combined with the quiet lane this home is on will guarantee a good night’s sleep! We adore this place and so will you.
