What’s On In Edinburgh – February 2020
After surviving what feels like the longest month, we are ready to welcome February with open arms! The Edinburgh days are starting to get a little longer and we have seen some of the most dramatic and spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the city. Edinburgh Evening News published a great selection of local’s pictures HERE.
February 2020
February, the month of love, is starting off with the Edinburgh Wellbeing Festival 1-2 February at the Assembly Rooms, the perfect event to help you stick to any new year resolutions or learn new ways to be healthier in 2020! Don’t miss the tail end of the joined celebrations of the Burns & Beyond Festival with the Chinese New Year Festival events throughout the city as we welcome the year of the rat. It is only once every 75 years that Chinese New Year and Burns night fall on the same day!
A personal highlight and recommendation from the Dickins team has to be the Leonardo Da Vinci Exhibition currently being held at the Queens Gallery at the Palace of Holyrood. The exhibition is on until the 15th of March and is not to be missed!
For the sports fans out there, the 6 Nations kicks off this month, with two games being played at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland vs. England on Saturday 8th February and Scotland vs. France on Saturday 8th March. This is sure to be an excellent tournament after last years’ Rugby World Cup.
