2020 has been quite the year, I think we’ll all agree! We don’t know about you, but we’ve found the daily dose of doom of the news so depressing. Good news stories seem thin on the ground in the media, but we know there are plenty of them in real life. It’s vital to stay positive, looking for the silver linings in the clouds. We know that there’s so much to be positive about in Edinburgh with so many businesses and people who have been complete stars in 2020.
Dickins: Best of Edinburgh Awards 2020
So, we think that 2020 is the perfect time for the first Dickins Best of Edinburgh Awards! As you know, in our blog and social media, we celebrate the city and great local independent businesses. For our Best of Edinburgh Awards, we’ve created categories of the things that are most important to us; shortlists of the things and people we think are the best, as well as reader awards where you get to vote for the people who have made the biggest difference to you. We’ll be announcing all the winners in early December and voting will be open all month, so please get involved, get voting and spread the word.
Our hope for these awards is to give our guests the key to unlock the best of Edinburgh and find all that is wonderful about our city when they visit.
We want to hear from you
Over the coming weeks, we will be releasing short questionnaires in four categories on our social media pages and we hope you will cast a vote. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter so you don’t miss out!
