What’s On In Edinburgh – December 2018
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Edinburgh! The city is marvellously decked-out and the festivities are in full swing. Finally, the sounds and smells of Christmas are everywhere. From festive shows to food markets, Edinburgh’s December calendar is brimming with special events, culminating in the world-famous Hogmanay celebration.
If you’d prefer to escape the Christmas crowds for a couple of hours, there are several highly-regarded exhibitions taking place throughout the month. Most noteworthy, the iconic works of Toulouse-Lautrec are on display in the National Galleries until the 20th of January. Likewise, Robert Bloomfield’s stunning private collection of street photography is open at the City Art Centre.
