The Best Places to Enjoy a Doughnut in Edinburgh!

1. Baba Budan

- Old Town is wonderfully charming and a great place to stay when visiting is 54/(8) St Mary’s Street
Delightful doughnuts, fantastic coffee, and a brilliant view, this coffee shop has it all! Located only a few minutes walk from Edinburgh Waverley station, Baba Budan can be found at The Waverley Arches. Also, once inside, don’t forget to look up so you can admire the gorgeous lighting sculpture.

2. Considerit
- Where: 3-5A Sciennes
- Another great place to stay when visiting Edinburgh’s Old Town is: 206/(4) Canongate
Located near the Meadows, Considerit is a relatively new addition to Edinburgh’s exciting foodie scene. If you’re vegan or lactose intolerant, this is one for you as Considerit believe in a plant-based future and therefore all their sweet treats are free from animal products! Also, their doughnuts, chocolate, and ice cream are all hand crafted on a daily basis.

3. Deadly Donuts
- Where: 21 Argyle Place
- Looking to stay in Marchmont, we have a lovely home for you at 36 Spottiswoode Road.
Tucked away in Marchmont, Deadly Donuts pride themselves on serving up freshly made, high quality and different doughnut recipes on a daily basis. The shop is owned by classically trained chef, Freddie Spindler, and their selection of doughnuts range from traditional flavours, to the more intriguing flavours such as matcha green tea.

4. Twelve Triangles
- Where: 90 Brunswick Street
- Visiting Edinburgh? Here’s a gorgeous and centrally located home: 42B North Castle Street
If you’re a fan of Lovecrumbs, we’re sure you’ll love its sister shop Twelve Triangles, who specialises in doughnuts. Located just off Leith Walk, this stylish cafe is the ideal place to pop into if you’re in need of a good cuppa and a sweet treat.

5. The Bearded Baker
- Where: 46 Rodney Street
- New Town is architecturally stunning and is full of wonderful cafes, we think you’ll love staying here: 88/(TFR) St Stephen Street
The Bearded Baker started off by supplying wholesale bagels to many of the city’s best cafes, and when the opportunity arose to turn The Bearded Baker into a cafe, they jumped at the opportunity! We’re so glad they did as the cafe is a gem, and most importantly they also serve up a fabulous range of delectable doughnuts.

Luxury can be an overused word – but not where this stunning home on North Castle Street is concerned. It’s 100 m from George Street with a private sun trap terrace, two bedrooms and two bathrooms and it’s been finished with such care.
