75 Leamington Terrace in Bruntsfield is just one of those places where you’ll instantly feel welcome and at home. You have views of the castle and Princes Street is a 25-minute walk away – there are plenty of buses as well. Bruntsfield is a vibrant area with lots of local cafes, shops, bistros and bars, including recently opened Meltmongers. It’s the place to go to if you fancy a cheese toastie, which all kids love, right?!

The location of our family friendly home on 89 Holyrood Road is excellent. You have Dynamic Earth on your doorstep, you’re right next to Arthur’s Seat, Holyrood Palace is a stone’s throw away and the Royal Mile, one of Edinburgh’s main attractions, is a short walk away. Here you’ll find the Museum of Childhood with toys, games and hands-on activities for all ages. If you’re travelling with a buggy, you’ll be pleased to know that there is a lift in the building.

The owners of 40 Royal Terrace have a great mid-century furniture shop in Edinburgh, which you will instantly notice when you step through the front door. Child friendly and stylish can go together! This home is on one of Edinburgh’s smartest streets, and only a 15-minute walk from Princes Street. You’re also right next to Calton Hill from where you’ll have the most amazing views of the city. If you’re hungry and in the mood for more style head to Century General Store a short walk away – coffee is excellent and your little ones will love the banana bread!

If you’re a big family or travelling with a bigger group you should check out the recently restored Rock House which plays an important part in the history of photography. The location on Calton Hill is very central, there is a private garden you can enjoy your morning coffee in and we can arrange a cot, high chair and toy box for the little ones.
