Our Top 10 Instagram Photos in February
March is here and it’s time to look back on February and find out which our most loved Instagram snaps have been. From our February top ten list we can tell that famous and popular Edinburgh landmarks will always do well on Instagram, but also that more obscure photos not everybody would be able to place straight away is also a winning concept, such as our snap of Glenfinlas Street, West Scotland Street and the number one photo of Côte Brasserie! We’re also pleased to see two photos of our gorgeous new home on North Castle Street in the top ten.
1. Côte Brasserie
This Parisian-style restaurant on the corner of Frederick Street and Thistle Street was our most liked photo in February. The interiors are attractive as well and a 2-course lunch is only £10.95. What’s not to like?!
2. Inverleith Park
Beautiful sunny and misty mornings in Inverleith Park are the best. Just look at those gorgeous shadows of the trees!
3. Dean Village
People have so much love for Dean Village – and so do we! The most striking building in the village (which can’t be seen in this photo) is Well Court that was built in 1880 as model housing for local workers. Check it out!
4. St Mary’s Cathderal
What a gorgeous sunset we experienced recently – luckily Louise was in the West End with her iPhone ready to capture this colour display above the cathedral. Stunning!
5. St Giles’ Cathderal
We never get tired of taking photos of the majestic St Giles’ High Kirk. Make sure to go inside as well as the interiors are incredible.
6. North Castle Street
One of our latest homes we’ve taken on is a luxurious and comfortable three bedroom home on North Castle Street. It’s an apartment but it feels like a house. We’re in love with it.
7. West Scotland Street Lane
Edinburgh is full of hidden gems. West Scotland Street Lane in the New Town is one of our favourites – what’s yours?
8. North Castle Street Bedroom
Imagine waking up in this bedroom with this view! It’s Georgian New Town living at its finest. And if you step out of the front door and look left you’ll be able to spot the Edinburgh Castle. Not bad at all.
9. Glenfinlas Street
The hills and cobbles of Edinburgh’s glorious Georgian New Town will never get boring to look at.
10. Princes Street
We’re lucky to have such a gorgeous main shopping street in Edinburgh. It can get busy but the views will make up for it over and over again.
We’d love it if you’d let us know which photo is your favourite. To see more of our snaps you can find us on dickins_edinburgh.
